Welcome to the
OverComers SAFE Haven Ministries

The OverComers-SAFE Haven Ministries (OSHM) have transformed over 800 lives with a 97% success rate using faith-based principles since our inception in 1992. Since 2001 we have been a self-funded organization, but we have not stopped providing free services to those who need us.

We are committed to reducing violence and economically empowering individuals and communities where poverty and violence is prevalent.

2008 is going to be an exciting year for the OverComers-SAFE Haven Ministries. We are launching several new programs:

• Free Counseling. We are available to counsel Chicago-area youth, adults, and couples. Please contact Lorraine Y. Bogan to schedule a session or get more information on services at OverCome@over-comers.org.
  
  
• Motivational Speaking. Our founder, Lorraine Y. Bogan, is available to speak on a variety of topics to empower you to overcome any barriers in your life
  
  
• Life Skills Workshops. Our life skills programs are ideal for both young people and adults who need to overcome behavior and self-esteem challenges to attain their goals
  
  
• Book Launches. OSHM will be launching a new book series called "I Am An OverComer." It examines the negative behaviors we fall victim to and how we can turn those into positive learning experiences
  
  
• Online Store. To support our services, OSHM is launching a web mall. You will be able to take care of your home needs, buy gifts for friends and family and even treat yourself with our wide range of products at wholesale prices
  
  
• Empowering South Shore Residents. Lorraine Y. Bogan has been a resident of Chicago's South Shore neighborhood for 44 years. Because of this, The OverComers-SAFE Haven Ministries is dedicated to providing services that uplift and encourage community residents.
